Advisory and Business Support

Support that goes further than a transfer of funds

For selected founders, Royal Crest Ventures contributes operating experience, relationships, and hands-on work across twelve areas.

Advisory support is offered at Royal Crest's discretion to businesses we have accepted. It is not a consultancy service sold separately.

Capital solves one problem. Most early failures are not caused by a shortage of money — they are caused by the wrong hire, an unworkable supply chain, a brand nobody remembers, or a founder carrying decisions alone.

Where we invest or partner, we make our operating capability available. Some of it is advice. A good deal of it is work: sitting with a supplier, rewriting a model, interviewing a candidate, opening a door.

How involved we become is agreed at the outset. Some founders want a board seat and monthly discipline; others want introductions and quiet support. Both are legitimate, provided everyone is clear from the start.

Capability

Where we help

Not every business needs all of this. Most need three or four of them badly.

  1. 01

    Business strategy

Where the business should focus, what to stop doing, and how the next twelve months are sequenced. Written down, agreed, and reviewed.

  2. 02

    Branding and positioning

Naming, identity, packaging, and the story a customer repeats. Handled by people who have taken consumer brands to shelf.

  3. 03

    Product development

Turning a concept into something manufacturable, compliant, and priced to leave a margin.

  4. 04

    Manufacturing and supply chain

Supplier selection, quality control, unit costing, and the contingency planning that keeps a launch on schedule.

  5. 05

    Marketing and distribution

Route to market, channel selection, retail and wholesale relationships, and the discipline to measure what works.

  6. 06

    E-commerce

Direct-to-consumer infrastructure, fulfilment, and the operational detail behind a store that actually converts.

  7. 07

    Financial planning

Models that a board can question, cash-flow discipline, and reporting an investor can rely on.

  8. 08

    Recruitment

The three or four hires that change a company's trajectory — and how to attract them before you can pay market rate.

  9. 09

    Investor introductions

Presenting the business to approved investors whose mandate genuinely fits, once it is ready to be seen.

  10. 10

    International expansion

Market entry, local partners, and the practical work of operating across jurisdictions.

  11. 11

    Legal and company formation

Coordination with qualified advisers on structure, licensing, and shareholder documentation.

  12. 12

    Sales growth

Pipeline, pricing, and the commercial rhythm that turns interest into repeat revenue.

Incubation

For businesses at the earliest stage

A small number of ideas are taken on before there is a company to invest in. Royal Crest may contribute the strategy, brand, manufacturing route, and initial capital to establish the business, with terms agreed openly before any work begins. These arrangements are selective and are never offered in exchange for an application fee.

Tell us where you are stuck

The application asks what you need beyond funding. That answer is often the most useful thing in it.
